Why is it the weekends is when your kids who refuse to get up during the week are up real early on the weekend? It must be programed in them ok it's 7am time to wake up. Such as the case in our house.
Not to mention this year we are on the afternoon rotation for church so we don't necessarily need to hurry in and out of the bathrooms for showers and what not. Hence why I'm sitting here blogging instead of doing my hair and make up... Not to fear though I will be doing that soon as I don't want to scare the poor members in my church as to how I look now. hehehe
Anyhow back to Sunday mornings.... So the boys are up and they are fighting... errr playing like angels with each other ::: rolling my eyes ::: and they tell me they are hungry. What else is new? They are always hungry! So after reminding them I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought all kinds of stuff for them to have they just need to fix themselves something crisis avert.
After they have eaten I tell the two younger ones it's time they go tell their dad to get out of bed. Yes my husband knows what to do on a Sunday morning, SLEEP!!!! So my husband got to hear a version of 'Oh where is my hairbrush'. The boys then come running down the hall and giggle stating they need musical instruments and go for pots and pans. Yep I know I enjoy being woking up to the lovely sounds of pots and pans clanging, I redirect them to something a little less harsh.
My fourth child aka my husband decides that all the singing and constant in and out of our bedroom is more then he wants to deal with. So on their last trip down the hall the boys are skipping and laughing they are going to wake daddy up, daddy roars at them and scares them half to death. Which of course ended up in peals of screams and laughter.
Of course aren't Sundays supposed to be a time for family, love and laughter.
Enjoy your day...
Now it's my turn to go find something to eat, if they haven't eaten it all by now
